How To Write A Great Article

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 12-04-2009

Are you intimidated by the thought of writing articles? When you think about writing an article, do you have flashbacks to high school writing classes, and feel paralyzed by the thought of putting words onto paper? Don’t fret. There are some easy general guidelines that apply to writing articles for your web site or to distribute in article directories, to other web masters, or to post to your blogs. Follow these guidelines and you’ll be writing great articles before you know it!

Simply make your articles brief, informative, and user-friendly. Articles do not need to contain technical information, but rather be written to give the reader useful information in an easy to understand manner. You can write articles quickly and effectively using these guidelines:

Make your articles brief and direct. The most sought after web content gives factual information on specific topics. Usually a one-page article is just about the right length. If your articles are too long, the user may lose interest and move on to another web site. If your article is too short, you will not be able to include enough information to tell the reader what he or she needs to know. A simple, one page article containing three to five paragraphs is perfect for your web site or to submit to an article directory, include in your newsletter, or post to blogs.

When writing your articles, include the most relevant information on your topic with links to further information included in your resource box or on your web site. Cover the general information you wish to pass on to the reader and make it easy for readers to locate additional information on the topic. A web site containing many pages with brief, precise content is much better than a web site containing 3 pages with extremely long, complex articles. Keeping the interest of the reader is your top priority. The average web site visitor does not want to spend a lot of time finding the information they desire, but rather locate general information quickly with the option to explore more in-depth coverage easily.

Creating user-friendly content is imperative to keeping the interest of the reader and enticing them to explore the subject further. Begin your article with a description of what information your article will contain, continue with the information written in a short, direct style, and end with a summary of what the reader has learned from your article. If you have a well-designed web site, you will be able to lead the reader to further information through links placed to the side or at the end of your article. If your article is for advertising purposes such as in a newsletter or to submit to an article directory, a short resource box at the end of your article containing your name, a short bio, and a link to your web site will be the best approach. Do not distribute links throughout your article, as it can be confusing and distracting to the reader.

Remember to include all relevant and necessary information, but do not overwhelm the reader with intricate details. Focus on your specific subject and keep your articles brief. Choose your keywords carefully so that readers and search engines will easily identify the article as containing pertinent information. A one-page article containing precise information and links allowing the reader to easily find additional information is the key to writing a great article.

Learning To Make Money Selling Your Written Articles

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 12-04-2009

When making money writing articles, many writers first search for paying clients. These paying clients, who often need unique content for their websites, will describe in detail what they expect from the writer in question. After the project is completed, the writer is paid, usually within two weeks. As nice as this approach is, know that it isn?t your only option. You can write your own articles, then turn around, and sell them, but how?

How To Start A Internet Business

One approach that many web content writers take involves creating a website or blog. This website or blog is where they will post their articles or a summary of those articles for all to see. Readers then have the opportunity to purchase the article or articles in question.

Best Internet Business To Start

Another approach taken involves visiting message boards that are devoted to internet marketing. This is where many website owners converge to discuss and learn about the latest internet marketing techniques. Since article writing is an important component of internet marketing, there is a potential for you to make money on these message boards. Look for message boards that have a marketplace area or section, where you can post your articles for sale.

In addition to online message boards that have a small marketplace section, there are websites that are devoted to it. These are websites where you can upload your articles and sell them. You have the ability to set your own asking price. This approach is nice, but the owners of the marketplace site in question will likely take a percentage of your sales.

You also have some freedom in how you want to sell your articles, in terms of format. If you are creating your own website or blog, you may want to closely examine PLR article packages. Many writers offer 10 articles for $10. While this may not sound like a great moneymaking opportunity, PLR articles can be sold more than once. The buyers often rewrite the articles to make them unique.

Whether you are selling your articles on your own website or blog or a third party website, you can sell for usage rights only. This is similar to selling your articles in PLR packages, but writers usually limit the number of articles they sell and they tend to ask for a slightly higher price. Some writers will request that the buyer keep their name as the author.

You also have the option of selling your articles with exclusive rights. This means that you cannot use the article again. Due to limited usage, you will want to get your money?s worth. Writers tend to charge more money for exclusive articles with exclusive rights. On average, these articles can start out at $10 and go up to $50 or more, depending on the subject and article length.

So, which approach should you take? Creating your own website or blog to sell your articles on is nice, as you have control and you can retain all profits. With that said, time and money must go into making your website successful. Choose an affordable web hosting plan, as paying too much can hinder your profits. As for the domain name, choose a catchy one, but one that explains what you are selling.

You must also market your website or blog. The good news is that this is relatively easy to do. Start with article directories. You can write articles on how to use articles for marketing, the benefits of hiring a professional writer, and so forth. Include a link to your website or blog where you have articles listed for sale, preferably on a wide range of topics.

Also, as stated above, internet marketing message boards may have an online marketplace. See if signatures are allowed as well. These allow you post a link, which will appear beneath each of your posts. Make a phrase clickable. Do not show the web address. Instead, create a catchy phrase, such as ?quality articles for less.?

Article Marketing Explained

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 09-04-2009

Lots of people have heard about article marketing but do not really understand what it is. There are different ways article marketing can be used to help you.

Writing an informative article about something that is related to your website content, service, or product, then mass submitting it to article submission or free content websites.

Because of the links in your author bio section or footer of the article, every article directory you submit to is linking back to you. While this creates a lot of one-way inbound links, you have to remember that those websites are not likely to be related to your product, service or website content.

In addition to that, those article directories also link to thousands of websites. Even on the page where your article appears in their site, it’s likely that many other links accompany your links on the same page, further diminishing the value of those links.

It is worth the effort. Those inbound links will definitely not hurt you and will help some, but the goal of submitting your article to all of those article directories is so that other Webmasters and Bloggers can find your articles.

Whenever a webmaster or Blogger uses your article in a website or Blog that is related to your content, product or service, then you are accomplishing a lot. Those are valuable one-way inbound links and will carry weight with search engines like Google.

Writing exclusive articles for high-traffic websites.

This is another way you can use article marketing to enhance your search engine rankings and link popularity as well as get traffic directly from those who read your article.

For this, you really need to polish your writing style. You need to write an informative article that is grammatically correct first of all. It needs to be 500 – 700 words.

You need to provide references for your facts and acknowledged quotes to support your theories or opinions. It will also help you illustrate that the information is correct. These types of articles require more research because they need to be accurate.

Once you have your article written, offer it as an exclusive article to just one high-traffic website where their topic is related to your content, products, or services. This article will be seen by many if it is accepted and you will see a direct result in the amount of traffic you get from just one article submitted to just one website.

I will offer one last way to use article marketing effectively. Writing the article as you would an exclusive article as mentioned above for another website and putting it into your own website.

Once you have the article written and posted into your website, take the link directly to the article page and start posting in forums and commenting on blogs that are related to the topic of your article. Use the link to that article page in your sig. line or as a reference if you find people discussing exactly what your article explains.

By using the article to help others, you will find they will want to see what else you have at your website. By linking it in your sig. line, you also increase link popularity for that page and for your website. Make sure that the rest of your website is linked from the page you put the article into and it can even help your website get crawled by the search engine spiders.

Reap Benefits When You Submit Articles For Niche Marketing

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 08-04-2009

Niche markets are small specific markets. Individuals or businesses are grouped together for niche marketing if they share similar interests or needs. For instance, females who play golf can be considered a niche market. Reaching as many people in the same niche is necessary to making your small business work. However, if you are an online business start-up, finding your target audience may be challenging in the beginning.

One way to quickly finding your target audience is if you submit articles to article directories as a way of marketing. People reading your articles on a niche topic and who clicks through on the author?s resource box to your website are likely to be your targeted audience. If you are female but don?t play golf, you would probably not be reading an article that teaches on getting the perfect golf swing. However, a female that does play golf is more likely to read one with a topic that says ?How a Female Golfer Can Improve Her Distance?. As you can see, finding your prospective customers in this manner reaps much direct benefits. A good marketing strategy is one that involves focusing your articles on sharing information whilst your site (via a winning sales letter) does the job of converting the targeted audience to clients.

It is important, therefore, that when you submit an article, you should look for article directory sites that will be visited by your niche market. If the article directory site is a general one, then ensure that you submit your article to the appropriate category.

Writing articles entails some knowledge, but you do not have to be an expert writer. Your article should be focused on solving an issue or problem for your reader. For article topics, think of common questions that are likely to be asked regarding that niche business. Using keywords that are easily identifiable by your niche market within your articles will further ensure that your audience can easily find your writings.

Compared with other forms of marketing, writing articles is almost free. You may find some small fees associated with publishing, but they are nothing compared to the high cost of placing ads or doing mailing promotions. Thus, website promotion through articles is a good idea especially if you, as a small business owner, have a limited marketing budget to begin with.

Writing and submitting articles for niche marketing may seem a tedious exercise to first-timers. But after you get the hang of it, marketing via articles can be a really easy and effective way to promote your small niche business. What is also highly rewarding is that you can build your credibility through the content you share. Thereafter, as you submit more and more quality content articles for the same niche market, traffic to your site will steadily increase.

Your Direct Response Strategy: With So Many Strategies, How Do You Choose The Best

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 07-04-2009

The success of your direct response strategy really depends on who you are mailing to, what your promise to them is, and when your mail is going out and what it is you mail. Here are a few things you need to be asking yours…

Your direct mail strategy? are you stuck trying to decide what strategies you are looking to implement?
Which direct response strategy pulls the best response? Is it a postcard? Self mailer? A Letter? The answer to that is not a simple one. It depends.

The success of your direct response strategy really depends on who you are mailing to, what your promise to them is, and when your mail is going out and what it is you mail. Here are a few things you need to be asking yourself to decide which direct response strategy is the one that you are going to want to go with for your next mailing?

A letter? Is your offer going to reach your prospect from a person, by name? Does it need to be addressed to certain person by name? Is confidentiality or privacy of concern? Then it should be mailed in an envelope. The sales letter would be your best bet here.

How about a postcard? If your message is simple and short, then perhaps this may be your best direct mail strategy.

Should you use a self mailer? Are you looking to keep your mailing costs down? Try a self mailer. This will help illustrate your sales message.

You could also use a classic direct mail package, especially if you have things that won?t fit in a letter from technical specifications. Is your sales message longer than 600 words? Do your prospects need to mail you back a check or an order form? Then this will be your best direct mail strategy.

Another direct response strategy for you to consider is a dimensional mailer. Do you need to reach Fortune 500 companies or C-level executives whose secretary screens their mail? Then the dimensional mailer is the way for you to go. This direct mail response has the potential for a high response rate.

You should mail out a catalog if you have a lot of items to sell, or if you want to show color or the shape and quality of a product.

How about if you have a message that needs to reach everyone in a specific geographic area/ Then an unaddressed flyer would be what you need.

If you have a short sales message for your existing customers, email (with their permission) would be your best bet.

Perhaps you have a short announcement for your existing customers? or you need to remind them about something coming up? then you?ll want to include a buckslip in your next mailing?

By implementing just some of these direct response strategies, you?ll be way ahead of the game!

Article Marketing Means Using Articles

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 05-04-2009

Article marketing is a means of using articles to generate traffic to your website. You achieve this initially by writing articles containing useful content, relevant to the topic of your site, and then submitting them to article directories. If your writing is sufficiently compelling, readers will want to know more about what you have written, and will click on the link you provide to your website.

www.yourarticlecash.com
www.articlemarketing.infozabout.com

Article submission does two things. Firstly it provides you with the opportunity to persuade the reader to find out more from your website, as inferred above, and it also provides you with a one way link back from the article directory. The higher the page ranking of the directory, then the more credit the search engines will give you for the link. Engines such as Google take your link popularity as a significant factor when calculating where your webpage should be listed in the index for the specific keyword your page relates to.

Your Article Must have Merit

However, it does not stop there. Should the visitor consider that your article is of sufficient merit to warrant them using it as content on their own website, they are entitled to copy it so long as they include your name as author, and your author?s resource box, complete with webpage URL. You then get a one way link back from all the sites that use your article, and also visitors that click on your link from these sites.

That?s the theory, but how about the practice? In fact it is slightly more difficult that that. The article has to be well enough written to be accepted by the directories first, though from what I have seen that is not too difficult. Some directories are quite liberal as to what they call ?writing?. It is not the directories that are the problem, it is the readers. People have a certain standard that they expect of internet writing, and if they feel that it is not met then they will click away from the article.

Don?t Try to Fool the Reader

The article must also be of interest and relevant to the theme. You don?t get people clicking to visit your website unless they find your content of interest and feel that your website could be of potential use to them. So write about what you know, and don?t try to fool anybody. Many people who access your article will know more that you about the topic, and will spot any inaccuracies immediately. Be accurate and try to provide information that will help them. Visitors to your website want to be helped, have a question answered or a problem solved.

Your resource box is also important. Don?t say too much about yourself: readers are not interested in your life history. Just tell them that they can find out more on your website. Provide them with a link a page in your site that deals exactly with what you wrote about and preferably with the same title, so that when they get there they will start reading.

Use Anchor Text where Possible

If you provide a link to a page within your site, rather than just the home page, it is regarded as of being more important to a search engine, especially if that link is provided by means of anchor text. That is text that indicates the topic of your web page, rather than being just a URL. You can do this if html is allowed. If you don?t know how to use html, just write something to the effect ?more information on this topic can be found on my web page This Topic

Drive More Traffic To Your Affiliate Site With Article Marketing

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 03-04-2009

If you visit any online internet marketing forum, you are going to find a lot of people on there promoting article marketing as a great way to drive more traffic to their affiliate business. There are other forms of internet advertising to generating opt in sign-ups, to get visitors to your website, and above all else, revenue generation through ads or affiliate marketing. When done right, article marketing is the most effective way of getting one way banklinks and visitors to your website.

Putting an article together is an important part of starting an article marketing campaign, but this does not come easily to everyone. Here are four tips that will jump start your article marketing campaign and help you put out some truly killer articles on the niche or concept of your website.

1 – Keep in mind that your title plays a large role in the effectiveness of your article. Make sure that you have an excellent title if you want your article marketing campaign to return the positive result that you had hoped for. You can have the best content in the world, but no one is going to read your article if your title is boring or does not tell them what your article is actually about. If you want people to click on your title so that they can read your article, you must give them something that grab their attention and be of value.

2 – Make sure that your article is structured in an easy to read manner. Unlike when it comes to paper, people tend to scan information when it comes to the internet rather than reading it all the way through. In order to make sure that your readers read your article completely all the way through, you need to make sure that the information that they need can be easily and freely found. Use sub headings, break the content apart into smaller paragraphs, and use bullet points whenever possible in order to build an article structure that is easy to read and scan.

3 – Make sure that your article is valuable and informative. If you are looking to create article content for an article marketing campaign that people are going to want to read, then you need to be willing to write articles that are informative. Your articles should have good information in them, because you want to build yourself a reputation as an authority on the subject that you are selling, rather than just regurgitating information that can be found everywhere else. If you do not know how to write valuable or informative information about your niche, you might be in the wrong niche.

4 – Finally, make sure that the summary for your article is both attention grabbing and un-forgettable. The title may be the most important aspect of your article, but you need to be able to back that up with an excellent summary. The summary is going to tell people exactly what they can find in your article, so that they know right away whether or not they are going to want to read it.

Article marketing is an excellent means of promoting your website on the internet. Following these four tips for article marketing will help you jump start your way to success in this exciting internet advertising business .

Article Marketing – Branding For Traffic

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 03-04-2009

Article marketing

Article marketing is the practice of posting keyword-focused articles on article Directories that then syndicate your content. The reason this is an important website promotion technique is because some of these article directories sites have a significant readership following.

Most article directories sites allow you to post your content for free. Once published, your content becomes available for all to see – and potentially reuse.

When done properly, articles you post on article directories sites can then become “link bait” for other sites. For example, let?s say you own a home business that sells ?Special Tropical Fish?. If you or your web content writer write an article about ?Discus? tropical fish, others who may want to post a blog entry about ?Discus? may link to your article, getting increased exposure for your writing and your subject matter, especially if the article site gets a great deal more traffic than your own website, which is fairly likely.

You may have wondered exactly what article marketing entailed – that is, if you?ve ever even heard of it before. Once you learn the ropes and follow a few guidelines, article marketing can help you boost your organic search rankings and can also act as a form of Internet viral marketing, because if your articles are compelling enough, others will want to include them in their blog posts and on their web sites.

People are constantly searching for new and unique marketing strategies with which to promote their businesses. However, one of the best techniques often is overlooked by marketers and sometimes unheard of. If you have been looking for a new strategy, consider article marketing. This is when businesses write short articles related to their industry or product, then get distributed or published on different Websites. Article marketing can be effective in gaining recognition for your product but some people don?t even realize it is available to them. While this type of marketing is used widely on the Internet these days, its roots extend to mass print?s early days.

In the offline form of article marketing, companies will write articles promoting a product of theirs, and then distribute it to newspapers prior to summer. Newspapers print this because it saves them the money of hiring a reporter to do this, while at the same time, it provides free marketing for that company. In the print form, article marketing has to be used sparingly, because newspapers will be reluctant to print your work too often. Every few months, as long as it is relevant to the service you provide, will suffice.

Article marketing is actually quite easy and is something that most successful webmasters have been onto for some time. While some have been focusing just on creating good links within their websites, successful people have been focusing on the fact that there has to be a balance between good links and good content and this is where article marketing comes into play.

The bottom line is that those that focus on links alone for good targeted traffic to their website will likely not see the success that they hope for. To get targeted traffic from search engines you have to provide content for the search engines as well as the people that visit your website. It is well known that search engines place a lot of importance on back links but you?ll also find that most websites with good page ranks are always looking for good fresh content, and this is not a coincidence. Search engines usually give more weight to sites that have high quality content in addition to back links.

Is Article Marketing Worth The Time?

Is it worth the time and energy to write and submit articles?

internet Marketing article marketing blogging fresh content, I say BIG yes and I?ll tell you why. First, I would like to tell you about an article that I wrote that have allowed me to rank organically on the first page of Google for our keywords and even dominate the first page.

This articles was indexed four times on the first page for it?s main keyword and for the second keyword it was indexed two times on the first page.

The first is an article I wrote that discussed the concept of ?Match Maker Service vs. Free Dating Websites? , the goal was to rank #1 for the keyword phrase “match maker service” in an effort to drive traffic to our client, Mms. Fay Goldman, a famous professional match maker from Manhattan, New York. The second keyword phrase was “free dating websites”. The article was submitted to two articles directories and it took days for it to appears on Google first page.

One good benefit of article writing is that you can parse your fresh content and use it elsewhere? either somewhere on your site, or in an eProduct, or newsletter, or email. Leverage the fresh content you?ve spent time all that time to develop and you?ll reduce the amount of time you need somewhere else and that?s exactly what i did with this article by using parts of it for ads, press releases and on the website fresh content page .

The best part of article writing though is the exposure you?re getting online. If you write consistently good stuff that gets picked up and distributed, you have the potential to gain the moniker of a ?guru?. This step can lend powerful credibility to you online. Once you?ve achieved this status, you?ve entered the realm of a life-changing experience. You?ll be in demand!

Article marketing is a great tool for fueling affiliate sales when submitting articles you?ve written to a small number of quality article directories online. (links below), Yes , You can submit to hundreds of article directories but as for my experience it?s not as effective as to submit your articles to the main 6-25 article directories. you can read about in my previous post.

Write & Submit Articles To Promote Your Business And Get Traffic

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 02-04-2009

Many of the newbies that are being exposed to the internet on a daily basis have dreams of running a website and making it successful. For some, this is a grueling task and leaves them short-winded trying to do so.

There are numerous marketing techniques that can be used to generate traffic on a regular basis. Out of all of them I have tried, writing seems to work the best.

Writing articles for ezines, newsletters, websites and forums in addition to using other marketing strategies keeps your website visible.

The internet has turned out to be a publisher’s paradise. Never before has the chance to publish your ideas and insights been this easy. In some cases all it costs is some of your time. You can write an article this morning and have it published in the evening.

Writing was once a secret weapon for many marketers, but now it has been thrown in the open and is now being used by many people. It has work wonders for me since I started doing it. My articles have appeared in ezines, newsletters and on websites with varying degrees of success. Here are some guidelines on how to write articles:

A. Write about what you know. Make sure it?s related to your business (so you can use the keywords you want to rank with) and helpful (so it gets published). Once you get thinking about it, you’ll probably find there are hundreds of articles you could write that are helpful. You may even have some of them partly written already in your instruction manuals or installation guides, etc. Another good idea is to think of all the questions you get asked by customers and potential customers. These questions show you what people are interested in. If you write an article answering every one of these questions, you’ll get published, and you’ll also show yourself to be a credible expert.

B. The best articles are only as long as they need to be. Keep it short and sweet ? there?s nothing wrong with a 400 word article. By the same token, if you need 1500 words to say all you need to say, that?s fine as well

C. Simply write in a style that your audience will be comfortable with. If they?re from the old school, don?t write like I am. Don?t use contractions, don?t end sentences with prepositions, and don?t start sentences with ?and? or ?but?. But if they?re not old school, just use conversational English. In fact, the more of yourself you include in the article, the more engaging it will be. The key is to make it readable.

Once you’ve written your article, you’ll need to develop a list of publishers that may be interested in publishing it. The best way to accomplish this is to display your articles on your website. Place a subscription box on each of your article pages to enable your visitors to subscribe. This list should be used to send your new articles to your list of publishers. “Submit Article” in the Google search will give you many sites where you can submit your articles.

Happy writing!

Article Optimization – Directory Submission 101

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 29-03-2009

It is a pleasurable challenge writing to Ezine and Article publishing Directories. This is the “sandbox” that most writers are contributing to today. More articles are written and show up as an entry to Google, Yahoo, MSN, AltaVist and other search engines than their are websites. Some websites are articles in themselves. It is much easier to write an article than it is to build a new website for most of us. The common person may not be able to do build their own website, but he or she may have the talent to be a successful writer. Think of the competition though! Thousands of writers writing about their content, promoting their website, and sharing their ideas. The numbers are overwhelming! There are a number of things that a writer needs to be aware of when submitting articles to develop a mass readership.

Article Optimization – If you want your article to show up on page number one of Google, it has to be optimized. Optimization is done by following some of the simple rules called “Search Engine Optimization”.

Choose a high quality article directory to submit to. This will contribute a great deal to getting the article close to the number one spot. You can determine the article directories PR rating in Google ?by installing the Google task bar on you browser and going to the article directory website. Contributing your article to the directory is a very simple thing. You will have to provide personal information, possibly a pen name, your website url if you have one, and the category you will be writing about.

Use keyword rich content in the title, teaser, and body of the article. You have to do some keyword research and plug them in to your article every chance that you can. A good example in this article would be the keyword “article directory”. It has to make sense when you use it. Once every paragraph or two and your readers will not get bored with the article and keep reading until the end of the article.

Use bold, italic, and underline when it seems appropriate with your keywords. Using Google, go look up some of your favorite keywords. You will notice in the list of Google links that the keywords you put in are in bold. Google picks up on the keywords. Let me repeat that, Google picks up on the keywords. In SEO Made Easy, the author indicates that not only does Google pick up on keywords, but Google picks up on keywords that are in bold, italic, and underlined.

Article Directories will let you place one to three incidents of anchor text in the body of the article. This is an excellent way to get a link back to your website! Google takes a while to do this, but eventually it will index the article and register the link. You can work in your keywords in clever fashion this way. If you have a website, and you are promoting your website in the article, this is the opportunity to use the keywords from your website. If the article directory allows the technique, html anchor text entries can be made in the body of the article as well as the bio. The reader would not normally know that html was being used. Of course the Article Dircetory has to accept html code for this to work.

Use anchor text in the article writers bio. Most Article Directories accept three, others will only allow you one. This is the sales pitch. If you have interesting content in the article, and have succeeded in convincing your reader that your contribution is worth investigating some more, they will want to go to your website and look some more! This is the author’s sincere wish most of all, to gain trust and repore with his or her readers and to start a continuing business relationship. It can be done with a proper close to the article asking for the reader to “come on in, the water is fine!”

Article Writing – If you want your article to be read from start to finish, choose keywords and content that will make sense to the reader. Don’t try to write about nuclear physics to a business crowd.

Determine your audience. This is done easily by entering your keywords into Google. Look at the number of entries returned. An article will be successful if you choose an audience that is not to large that you cannot compete against and not so small that you will only expose the article too few times to too few readers. When starting, it is a good idea to start with keywords that are getting about 30 hits a day at Overture. Normally there would also be less than ten million entries returned from the Google keyword search for your topic. Work on the larger populations when you get this down. You will find innumerable targets and keywords that you can do this with. There is no end to topics available on the internet. What a rich source of information!

Use original content when submitting to Article Directories. They have a way of finding out if your content is not original. Article directory submission guidelines always require you have exclusive license allows your name to be associated with the articles produced for you or by you. So don’t do it. You will get caught!

Enjoy your writing! The world is open to to your ideas and more than willing to accept what you have to offer, if it is done the right way!

Wise Article Marketing Strategies

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 27-03-2009

If you are an article writer, you may have been submitting your articles to ezines in order to get your name out there. Ezines are wonderful in that they give the unpublished author the opportunity to market their name without the expense of advertising. At some point you may wonder if you can be compensated for your work. The answer: yes, you can. Through implementing wise marketing strategies, you can earn money for your work and receive steady income. Here’s how:

Your Website If you don’t already have your very own website, set one up and feature some of your favorite articles. You’ll create an extra set of links to articles you already submitted to the ezines. Make sure you have a contact form in place to allow interested parties a way to get in touch with you.

Blogging A great alternative to a website are blogs. If you don’t have the time or money to manage a website, you can create a blog and have links to your articles appear there.

Message Boards/Forums If you run a well respected and busy forum, consider letting your members know that you write articles as well. If you don’t run a forum, but you are a moderator, ask the forum administrator for the opportunity to promote yourself in exchange for your work.

Craig’s List This site is the king of all sites. You can post your resume, your small business ad, look for work, join a club, etc. In most cases no fees are ever charged and it can be a great way for you to network. At the very least, any link you place in your “ad” will quickly gain you a good link with the search engines. One caveat: most ads run from between 10 and 45 days, so you will need to manage your ads in order to remain marketable.

Paid Sites If you are serious about making some income on your articles, consider investing in yourself and joining a paid site. Many will allow you to have either a free trial period or a basic membership. To receive the full benefit of the site, you will need to upgrade. Guru.com is one such site for you to consider.

Trade Associations If you write on a specialized topic, such as railroads, contact your local trade association and see if they are in need of a staff writer. Many associations will give to you a small stipend. If not, see if you can get a free membership or some other type of discounted service for your work. Cash is cool, but free services are nice too!

Email Lists In this day of overreaching spamming, getting an email list together of people who will actually read your emails can be difficult. Instead, join a list-serv and discretely share your talents with members there.

Article writing for profit can take time and it will usually require a lot of legwork on your part before you get established. Still, it can lead to bigger and more profitable ventures for you as long as you stick with it. If you are good at it, it may allow you to quit your “day job” to pursue what you really want to do. What can be better than that?

1/3 Of French Citizens Would Buy Your Product If Better Than In Their Country. Get Your Complete European Website Now!

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 26-03-2009

Newcastle Dropshippers:

If you think you do not need French internet buyers then you may be making a huge mistake for the future of your business.

Reasons why you need french website particularly if you do not understand any French or feel lost in translation.

Europe main key facts:
27 countries – Population (2008) 489,111,662
internet users 297,001,040 representing 60.7 % of the EU population.

When an European Consumer Commissioner made a report on EU internet buyers and declared that 1/3 of the European Population is keen on buying your product if it?s cheaper or better than what they see online in their national internet, you may wonder how to break into these market.

So what are you waiting for?

Well, I hear you saying ?je ne comprends pas le Francais?
?I can only ask for a cerveza por favor?
?German is difficult?
Then it?s urgent you read the following report from European Union Consumer Commissioner Meglena Kuneva.

EU report on “Barriers to E-commerce”, presented on March 5th 2009 by EU Consumer Commissioner Meglena Kuneva shows that online shopping is increasingly popular in the EU.

But Meglena Kuneva warns that barriers to cross border trade are holding back its development.

The report published on March 5th 2009 presents a detailed analysis of current trends in e-commerce across the Euroland ? including per country, most purchased items and obstacles for consumers and business online.

Between 2006 and 2008 the proportion of European Union consumers buying at least one item over the internet increased from 27% to 33%.

These average figures mask the huge popularity of online shopping in countries like UK, France and Germany where more than 50% of internet users have made online purchases in the last year.

In the Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland) the proportion of internet users who bought products and services online was 91% in 2008.

European Union countries like Italy and Spain are also fast growing markets. Against this pattern of fast growing national markets, the extent of online purchasing cross border remains small, at only 7% in 2008 (compared to 6% in 2006).

The report warns that numerous obstacles – linguistic, practical and regulatory as well as important trust issues ? are holding back the development of online shopping in the Euroland.

Commissioner Kuneva said: “EU consumers have everything to gain from the Internet. It expands the size of the market they operate in and gives them access to more providers and more choice.
It makes it possible to compare products, suppliers and prices on an unprecedented scale. Internet use for retail shopping is destined to become pervasive.

Already 150 million European Union consumers shop online, although only 30 million shop online cross border.
We must see to it that adoption of the internet platform will not be unnecessarily slowed down by a failure to remove important regulatory barriers or to address important trust issues for consumers.”

1. European UnionE-commerce is doing well
EU consumers are particularly satisfied when it comes to comparing prices, wide range of offers, affordability of products and the choice of different suppliers.

2. There is a strong potential for cross border trade in online commerce
One third of Euro citizens would consider buying a product or a service from another Member State via the internet because it is cheaper or better.

3. The potential of cross border trade is failing to materialise.
From 2006 to 2008, the share of online shoppers in the EU has increased from 27% to 33% of consumers while cross-border e-commerce remained stable.

Only 7% of consumers currently buy cross-border online. And the gap is widening not narrowing!

The main barriers:

- Geographical segmentation: Most Euroland traders now have a website that is visible to consumers everywhere. And yet most Euro retailers still seem to operate on the assumption that the internal market is partitioned along national lines.

The range of possibilities is enormous, yet in practice, consumers end up being refused sales or redirected back to their country of origin.

- Language barriers, these remain an issue for most Euroland traders and consumers, although we should be careful not to overstate their importance. For example, 60% of retailers are already prepared to carry out transactions in more than one language.

Euroland regulatory barriers include for example consumer law, VAT rules, selective distribution law, intellectual property protection.

- Barriers undermine EU consumer confidence ? in particular reluctance linked to payment issues, delivery, complaints, guarantees, requests for exchange and refunds (after sales support), as well as privacy issues. Difficulties seem to be aggravated in cross border transactions.

At Catalyst Entrepreneur, we answer all your queries about your new european website. Act now before your competitor does!

Writing Good Sales Copy

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 25-03-2009

Learning to write good sales copy isn?t something you can learn by reading a quick tutorial ? it takes practice. Although you probably won?t turn into a world-famous copywriter overnight, there are a few tips you can use to increase the response from your sales letters.

The first thing you should learn is that the headline is (almost) everything. If your headline is terrible ? or worse – boring, most people won?t even read the rest of your sales letter. A headline needs to be exciting, enticing, and intriguing.

It needs to grab the attention of your visitor quickly. Your headline might have shock value, ask a compelling question, or be the beginning of an extremely interesting story. ?Six months ago, I was living on the streets of L.A., homeless after my Adjustable Rate Mortgage soared so high I couldn?t make the mortgage payments, but now I?m living in a sky-rise apartment twenty stories up that I paid seven figures for??

This makes the reader want to know more ? how did this person go from being destitute to being wealthy? Good sales copy usually tells a story that the audience can connect with. Copy ideally shouldn?t tell a fictional story, though.

You certainly don?t want to run into any trouble with the FTC or an attorney general with something to prove. Good copy gives people a reason to keep reading. If you tell an interesting, compelling story that?s somehow related to the product and how it will affect them, it will naturally appeal to your visitor.

Every single paragraph should lead into the next paragraph, drawing the reader further and further into the pitch. Consumers usually buy based on emotion, and then they justify their purchase with logic. They rarely buy based on logic alone.

They don?t buy a product because of the features – they buy because of the benefits it will provide to them, the WIIFM (What?s In It For Me) factor. If you?re selling a car, you can?t tell the buyer that it has Corinthian leather seats, ABS brakes, and a superior sound system.

You have to sell them on the fact that their neighbors and coworkers will be envious, girls will flock to them, and they?ll feel like the king of the world whenever they drive it. Then they?ll buy based on the fantasy you?ve just given them, and they?ll use logic to justify their purchase later.

Within each online sales letter, you?ll want to have a main headline, numerous sub-headlines sprinkled throughout, and aside form the written storyline, you?ll want to add sections of benefit-driven bullet points that break up the monotonous text.

Don?t forget the call to action at the end and a Post Script (PS) or two that sums up the order in case they?re bona fide skimmers who hate to read. Go to some of your favorite sales pitch sites and emulate their style and approach. Bookmark it for your ?swipe file,? where you borrow ideas (not content) from the original author and use it on your own target audience.

SEO Article Writing Done Right

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 25-03-2009

Article marketing has become one of the most popular ways to get links and get search engine traffic for many savvy website owners. It’s free and it works. Simple as that. But, as with most things associated with online marketing, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do SEO article writing. Here are three tips to help you with writing better articles for maximum optimization results.

#1 – Keyword Research

The mistake many new SEO article marketers make is jumping right in and writing their brains out. They skip what is, in many ways, the most important and crucial step in the process: keyword research. It seems like a simple concept once you learn it, but lots of new marketers fail to wrap their heads around this. The bottom line is that you will fail in your SEO efforts if you don’t write articles around proper keyword phrases.

You need to use a good keyword research tool, such as Google’s External Keyword Tool or Wordtracker. Now, a lot of newer marketers get this far, then make the second big mistake in SEO: going after high competition keywords. Unless you have months to invest without any real return on that investment, it’s a bad idea to optimize articles around highly competitive keywords. Instead, look for keywords you can apply SEO to with a realistic shot at reaching Page 1 at Google and the other top search engines. These are known as ‘longtail’ keywords. An example would be going after ‘how to train a dog’ instead of ‘dog training.’ You have a reasonable chance at writing an SEO article and getting it to a Top 10 ranking with the longer phrase. You have virtually no chance to get one written around ‘dog training’ anywhere near the Top 100, let alone the Top 10 – at least not anytime soon. Find the longtails!

#2 – Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI)

OK, once you’ve finished the research to find longtail keywords that are useful in your SEO efforts, you’ll want to write articles that include not only the keyword phrase in question, but also related words that are positioned close to the words in the target phrase. This is known as Latent Semantic Indexing, or LSI for short. The idea is to help the robots the search engines use figure out with better precision just what your article is about. So, using the above example (‘how to train a dog’), you’d want to sprinkle in words like ‘dogs,’ ‘training,’ ‘puppy,’ ‘trainer,’ and so on.

The exact power of this SEO article writing tactic is unknown (outside of Google), but enough testing has been done to be sure that it’s worth adding to your articles. You don’t have to overdo this, by the way. Just create a short list of related words for every longtail keyword phrase you come up with, and sprinkle those words in here and there. Don’t let this interfere with the naturalness of your writing, however. It just takes a bit of practice to get proficient.

#3 – Links

OK, the last piece of the SEO puzzle is to get a few links pointing to your articles after they’re posted. Often, the difference between a Page 1 ranking and oblivion is just a few links. This is especially true with SEO articles written around longtail keywords, because the competition is so much lower. Wherever you get the links, the big key is to use the longtail phrase you targeted in your article as the anchor text in the links pointing back to it. What’s anchor text? That’s just the words you make clickable in any link. Instead of just having the URL be the part you click in your link, you want to make the longtail keyword the clickable part. This tells Google that the page being linked to is about the words in that link.

That’s all there is to it. Follow these three basic tips and you’ll get better at writing a good article and see significant improvement in your SEO article writing results.

Affiliate Marketing Starting Off In The World Of E-Commerce

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 24-03-2009

So you have a website but its only displaying your information you created at the moment, which could be on anything and any subject. So you think I need to do more than just my business on this website and then you open up a whole realm of possibilities.

You have to think about a real world shop for example your paper shop that you may go to in the morning will be mainly selling papers but will also probably have adverts in the window. So from this example you can see that although he is doing his main business from selling papers he is also renting out advertising space.

You need to view your website in the same manner either you are selling something yourself you may also want to put other ads that complement your website and bring in extra income from this.

The main thing to decide is how you are going to go about doing this there are two main methods there are providing context based ads from people like Google, Yahoo, and MSN there are general affiliates that you have to look for.

There is already a lot of information about contextual based advertising and I can recommend that if you are website owner that looking at Michael Cheney?s videos are probably the best source of information.

As for affiliate marketing the two main players are commission junction and click bank and you can go to their respective websites and get an account and before delving into just whacking up ads anywhere, sit down plan your web page.

Look at Google?s hot spot in there help file for advertisement placement you need a google account to access this but it s not that hard to get one.

Both click bank and commission junction have extensive help to get you started on the road to affiliate marketing and I know that it is well worth the time in planning and maybe doing a dummy run just to see how the ads and affiliates work and getting an understanding of the programs involved.

This is not a get rich quick system it?s more of a steady method of generating extra income from your website without putting a great deal of effort in.

When entering this market also remember there are some major players in this field who generate large sums of income from these methods but they don?t do this by trial and error. The main thing to remember is that when you have a method that works stick to it as long as possible.

The affiliate marketing game or business is very fast changing field of opportunities and you may be lucky to hit a particular niche to be very successful you have to look at new trends and do a lot of research on a wide range of subjects.

I have been in the affiliate marketing business around three years now and I?m still surprised by the speed of changes to what is hot and where did the traffic come from. You need to arm yourselves with the best tools available but it?s not easy to get advice on what will suit your needs.

Keep up-to-date with the newsletters provided by commission junction and click bank and you can?t go too far wrong. I wish you success in the fields of Internet marketing.

Affiliate Programs And Affiliate Marketing: A Wealth Of Opportunities

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 23-03-2009

For as long as employment has been the mandatory way in which to make money, people have been looking for easy escapes. The dream of earning a huge salary without much work, has been the goal of many but has been realised by very few. The online revolution seemed to pry open many of the doors that had shut in the real world. However even now there is an air of disillusionment hanging around the Internet, following the dot com crash and rumours and speculation abound about security. But despite the seemingly insurmountable odds one online industry that has welcomed people of all abilities, backgrounds and qualifications has continued to thrive. The affiliate marketing program is a web based advertising realm, which offers regular website owners the chance to host advertisements and hopefully to earn a little money.

Even in the affiliate program the big money doesn’t come easily, it takes time, patience and some good business decisions. The first of these decisions lies in which industry that a new affiliate wishes to join. The Internet is a hot bed of industry performance, with its uninhibited global reach business and enterprise has become a cornerstone for the new e-industries. One of the most successful global sectors is that of online gaming. People from all corners of the global village have been signing up and playing along in some of the most exciting betting action ever seen. Sports betting has become a particularly hot industry, turning over billions of dollars each year, and maintaining one of the largest clientele of an industry. As such the sports betting sites provide the optimum partnership level for new affiliate, looking to get a cut of the action.

The fledgling affiliate is given all of the marketing tools and instructions to make their site a successful advertising forum. Making the transition from Internet user to marketing guru an easy one. No money exchanges hands in this initial transaction, the affiliate is instead paid on a commission basis. Each fully signed up customer the affiliate attracts brings them extra revenue. In the sports betting market this revenue tends to be based around the financial gains that individual creates for the site. The sports betting sites ordinarily offer up to 35% of each player’s revenue, to the affiliate that attracted them. Therefore affiliates can earn in line with the profits of an online bookmaker, meaning that like the sports betting sites, the affiliate is able to earn without boundaries or caps.

Due to the ease with which a person can sign up and start earning through the online sports betting affiliate program, there is absolutely nothing stopping any person signing up and earning. The potential for custom in the sports betting market is unparalleled, therefore an affiliate has a huge Internet clientele to exploit. The earning capabilities of an online affiliate are only inhibited by their own willingness to work and experiment with the online advertising options. The affiliate marketing program offers opportunity in return for very little in the way of effort or financial backing. In essence you can reap the rewards of your own labours, whilst collecting more in the process, just through hosting advertisements.

Affiliate’s Guide To Success

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 23-03-2009

Affiliate work is a rewarding work at home profession. There are hundreds of companies and small businesses that will pay you a commission for selling their top selling products. There are 2 main ingredients for success. Successful affiliates learn networking techniques and apply them, and the most important ingredient of all is to have a positive attitude. If you have these two things, there are virtually no limits to what can be accomplished.

For anyone new, or old to the affiliate profession it can get extremely tough, Those tough times can make or break, the work at home affiliate. When times are rough it is sometimes easier to just throw up your hands, and walk away, but for the successful marketer there is no walking away, they stick with it, they are patient, and persistent. These people have started a mission and will not quit until they succeed. If this sounds like you than this profession may be just what you have been looking for.

For most people the most difficult times are seen, when they first start out. This is the time to be diligent. As a newbie you have to work much harder than the old timer who, has advertised their web pages and products for years. Most old timers can literally go away for a month or more, and come back to find that while they were gone they made sales. This is known to the industry as auto pilot. For the newbie it will be awhile until their site goes into auto pilot, but auto pilot should be something to shoot for in the affiliate based business.

For the time being there are many ways to get up, and running. The difficult task is deciding how, and where you wish to start. If you are considering trying your hands at being a affiliate. The first thing to understand is that a web page is nothing with out visitors. ( Note: If you do not have a web page there are affiliate groups that will give you links, and some will even build you a web page.) Your web page or landing page is like a store for the most part, if no one knows where you are, or what you have to offer you will not sell any products. The same thing applies to a web page or a landing page, You can have the best web page in the world, and it will not do you any good. YOU HAVE TO GET VISITORS! Don’t make it a point to get just any visitor either! Make it a point to get the targeted visitors!

1.) Most importantly, when you join an affiliate group the first thing you need to do is, contact your sponsor. This is the person who is accredited with recruiting you as the new affiliate member. Make it a point to contact your sponsor, Introduce yourself ask for some start up tips. Remember starting up is the hardest thing you will ever have to do in this business, or any other business for that matter. From there it will get easier. So don’t be afraid of asking for help. Get help where you can. Your sponsor will be more than happy to give you pointers.

2.) Most affiliate groups have a training course available to new affiliate members. Read them understand them and apply them. In those courses you will get tools, ideas, and links to promote their products. all of them will give you advertising pages or landing pages such as this one http://www.internet5kincome.com/empo.html You should use these pages to promote your products. These pages make things easier for beginners. It allows for the affiliate to concentrate on getting the link out to potential buyers. AKA Targeted Visitors.

3.) Now the time has come to decide on what roads to take. How will I market my new business? This all depends on who you are. If you have money to spend you can advertise anyway you would like to. You can advertise with Google Ad words, or other pay per click (ppc) services, place ads in magazines ect…. The point is there are limitless possibilities. For those on a budget you can advertise many different ways as well, you will need to be a little more creative in your advertising. Advertise through blogs, and forums, to writing articles, reciprocal linking is a good idea (exchanging links with other web sites.),promote through emails (No Spamming please) there are endless advertising methods for both kinds of affiliates. Here are a few free advertising links that I have used in the past to get me started. http://www.internet5kincome.com/freeads.html

4.) Once you have decided on how you will advertise try and get your links in front of people who are looking to buy your products. If I am promoting bass fishing equipment I need to find a captive audience. I need to get my link in front of those people who want to buy bass fishing equipment. There is no rocket science involved here! Ask yourself this question; where are my potential buyers? The beautiful thing about the Internet is, the answers are only a click away. Use the Search Engines for this example I would type in fishing blogs, forums, stores, bait shop, fishing story postings, derby ect… This would be a goof start to finding your customers.

Once your advertising starts flooding the Internet it is almost impossible to stop people from buying your companies products. You would have to shut down your web site, and turn off your links. The rewards can be fruitful, and with the right attitude, knowledge, and products, you will earn a piece of the Internet’s great wealth.

Never doubt yourself, and never stop learning, never quit; and the internet income is yours for the taking!

Affiliate Tip ? Build A Website

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 23-03-2009

One of the first things you should do as an affiliate marketer is to build you own website. Yes, you can market affiliate programs without it by adding links to your email or signature file on message boards, but you will be very limited in how much you can earn this way. Building a website allows you to expose the products you are promoting to a much larger audience with less effort.

Decide on a Topic

Your first step is to decide what you would like your website to be about. Find a topic you like, something you are passionate about. You will be spending a lot of time creating content for your site, so it may as well be something you enjoy reading and writing about. Your enthusiasm for the subject will shine through as well, and will get your visitors interested. Once you have your topic, make sure there are affiliate products available that compliment the site and that there are people interested in buying it.

Pick a Domain Name

Use a site like register.com, or your web host?s site to research available domain names. It helps to have one of your major keywords in your domain name. So if you decided your website will be about growing roses, try to work ?rose? in the domain name. You want your domain name to be easy to remember and easy to type. Try to avoid using dashes in the name and find something that?s available as a dot com address.

Hosting

The next step is to set up a web hosting account. You should be able to get by with a basic personal website package to begin with. Get some recommendations from others when it comes to choosing the actual hosting company. You want a service that is reliable and has good customer service. After all, you won?t be making any money when you site is down. I have been using Dayana hosting for years and highly recommend them.

Site Builder or Software

Let?s talk about how you can build your website. Your options are using a site builder, like internetbasedfamilies.com or software like Microsoft FrontPage, or my favorite x-site pro. A site builder is usually easier to use in the beginning and hosting is included. You will pay a monthly fee for the software and hosting combined. If you build your site using software like x-site pro or FrontPage, you have the added initial expense of buying the software, but your monthly hosting costs are usually lower. Of course a third option is to have someone else design the site for you. You should still get familiar with the site builder or software, so you can make changes to the site.

Getting Traffic To The Site

Your last step will be getting traffic to your site. Optimize your pages for search engines to get free traffic. You can also write articles and submit them to article directories. Pay per click advertising and buying ads on other related sites or newsletters are also great ways to drive traffic to your site.

Affiliate Programs: How To Choose The Best Program To Market

Posted by | Posted in Article Marketing | Posted on 23-03-2009

Major advances have been made in e-commerce and have given birth to one of the easiest ways of generating income online, marketing affiliate programs. There are many affiliate programs available for making money on the internet. If you are a website owner, promoting products and services through affiliate programs can be an excellent way to monetize your traffic. If you don’t already own a website, you can still make money with affiliate programs.

A good affiliate program has many advantages. Choosing the wrong affiliate program to market can have an extremely negative impact on your business and it is very important that you choose your programs carefully. Here are a few of the best features you should look for in an affiliate program:

1. The affiliate program should have a good reputation for paying affiliates on time. There are some affiliate programs that cheat their affiliates by not paying them on time or not at all, do your best to avoid these programs.

2. The affiliate program should offer a wide variety of flash banners, popups, and image banners, that can be added to an affiliates’ website. Providing marketing support in the way of promotional tools shows that an affiliate program is concerned with their affiliates success.

3. The affiliate program system should offer a variety of landing pages so that affiliates can set a different landing page for every text, banner, and ad links.

4. The affiliate program software should support a multi-tier commission structure.

5. The affiliate program should provide accurate affiliate stats. Providing a solid stats package gives affiliates the ability to track their campaigns, make necessary adjustments, and generate more sales.

6. The affiliate program owners should provide quick support for getting answers to questions in a timely manner.

Hopefully these tips will help you in choosing the very best affiliate programs to market for. There are many, many choices available to today’s online affiliate marketer, make your decisions carefully!
