Really Huge Profits Using PPC In Your Affiliate Marketing Ventures

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 05-03-2009

Let us take a quick look at how PPC Search Engines work.

These engines create listings and rate them based on a bid amount the website owner is willing to pay for each click from that search engine. Advertisers bid against each other to receive higher ranking for a specific keyword or phrase.

PPC is one of the four basic types of Search Engines. PPC is also one of the most cost-effective ways of targeted internet advertising. According to Forbes magazine, PPC or Pay Per Click, accounts to 2 billion dollars a year and is expected to increase to around 8 billion dollars by the year 2008.

The highest bidder for a certain keyword or phrase will then have the site ranked as number 1 in the PPC Search Engines followed by the second and third highest bidder, up to the last number that have placed a bid on the same keyword or phrase. Your ads then will appear prominently on the results pages based on the dollar amount bid you will agree to pay per click.

How do you make money by using PPC into your affiliate marketing business?

The reason why you should incorporate PPC into your affiliate marketing program is that earnings are easier to make than in any other kind of affiliate program not using PPC. This way, you will be making profit based from the clickthroughs that your visitor will make on the advertiser?s site. Unlike some programs, you are not paid per sale or action.

PPC can be very resourceful of your website. With PPC Search Engines incorporated into your affiliate program, you will be able to profit from the visitor?s who are not interested in your products or services. The same ones who leave your site and never comes back.

You will not only get commissions not only from those who are just searching the web and finding the products and services that they wanted but you will be able to build your site?s recognition as a valuable resource. The visitors who have found what they needed from you site are likely to come back and review what you are offering more closely. Then they will eventually come back to search the web for other products.

This kind of affiliate program is also an easy way for you to generate some more additional revenues. For example, when a visitor on your site does a search in the PPC Search Engine and clicks on the advertiser bided listings, the advertisers? account will then be deducted because of that click. With this, you will be compensated 30% to 80% of the advertisers? bid amount.

Most affiliate programs only pay when a sale is made or a lead delivered after a visitor has clickthrough your site. Your earnings will not always be the same as they will be dependent on the web site content and the traffic market.

PPC is not only a source of generating easy profits; it can also help you promote your own site. Most of the programs allow the commissions received to be spent for advertising with them instantly and with no minimum earning requirement. This is one of the more effective ways to exchange your raw visitors for targeted surfers who has more tendencies to purchase your products and services.

What will happen if you when you integrate PPC into your affiliate program?

PPC usually have ready-to-use affiliate tools that can be easily integrated into your website. The most common tools are search boxes, banners, text links and some 404-error pages. Most search engines utilize custom solutions and can provide you with a white-label affiliate program. This enables you, using only a few lines of code, to integrate remotely-hosted co-branded search engine into your website.

Best know more about how you can use PPC search engines into your affiliate program than miss out on a great opportunity to earn more profits.

The key benefits? Not only more money generated but also some extra money on the side. Plus a lifetime commissions once you have referred some webmaster friends to the engine.

Think about it. Where can you get all these benefits while already generating some income for your site? Knowing some of the more useful tools you can use for your affiliate program is not a waste of time. They are rather a means of earning within an earning.

Big 5 Google Adwords Venture Mistakes

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 05-03-2009

You have heard or maybe experienced the Adwords horror stories. Mistakes can be quite costly with Google Adwords.
Let’s take a look at the most common adwords mistakes newbies make and how they can be avoided.

1)Poor landing page
2)Turning on the Content Network
3)Daily budget too high
4)Grouping Keywords
5)bidding too low

Poor Landing Page

A decent landing page is a key factor in sales conversions. There are many different styles of pages, and going into great detail what makes a good landing page would be a full article itself but basically, organized layout, proper use of graphics, getting your message across clearly & no frames are the main components to a quality landing page.

When using Adwords Google really takes the content of your site as a main factor. Whatever keywords you are advertising, you should try to have on your page. Not only will the searcher identify this as relevant information, and Google will reward you with a better quality score which can mean higher rankings, cheaper minimum bids and they can shave the cost of the clicks down from what you have bid. Google rewards relevancy and Adwords is no exception.

Turning on the Content Network

The content network is plagued with click fraud and poor quality traffic. When I started with Adwords I didn’t realize this and left the content network on and lost money. That being said, once you have a handle on Adwords you can use the content network just make sure to bid very low. Personally I don’t bid over 0.06 cents a click. Some people claim that they profit higher and get better sales conversions from the content network than they do with the
search network. I have never experienced this myself.

Daily Budget Too High

Putting the daily budget up higher than the recommended amount used to be recommended by top marketers to increase traffic. Recently Google has increased the impressions on campaigns that use this technique. The problem is that the increase is on keywords broad match phrases that aren’t targeted very well which leads to a huge spike in conversions and a poor CTR. This will hurt your Quality score and can really hinder your campaign’s performance. Another reason you want to be careful when raising your daily budget high is sometimes marketers forget that they have done so.
They might not check their account for a couple of days and when they do they end up blowing through a lot of money.

Grouping Keywords

When creating your ad groups you want to use similar keywords in each ad group with at least one keyword the same eg. ad group – electric guitars, keywords:

electric guitars
cheap electric guitars
vintage electric guitars

The root keyword in the above example is electric guitars and this phrase should be in every keyword you would use in this group. The root keyword should also be used in your ad:

Cheap Electric Guitars
Save huge on electric guitars
Huge selection & Free shipping
http://example.com/guitarstore

Grouping your ads properly will help you tailor your ad and landing page to your targeted keywords and will help Google serve your ads on the keywords you want.

Bidding Too Low

Bidding too low can leave you buried at the bottom of the pack getting little exposure. When you do have a visitor interested in your products, they will typically keep searching after they have left your website and compare you to your competitors. If they have forgotten the name of your website (they usually do) They will most likely do another search to find you again, if you are not on the first page they may not dig to the other pages for you even if they found you on the 3rd page originally, they may not be willing to do it again people get tired of comparing prices and searching after a while and burying yourself may save you money in bids but can also cost you a lot in sales.

This covers some of the major mistakes and I sincerely hope this article saves people from losing money and help you overcome your google adwords problem.

Wealthy Affiliates Taking PPC To New Heights

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 04-03-2009

Following my recent article ?Using PPC and SEO in harmony? I will now look deeper into exploring the various ways PPC can be used for niche market research.

Google?s Adsense is probably the best way for using a PPC campaign due to its high traffic volume, but not because of its Adsense system. No, indeed similar systems can be found at abundance throughout the web. Google hosts millions of searches each day, meaning that any PPC campaign is bound to find a few customers amongst such numbers.

The chronological way for using such system would be to bid for your primary keyword, specially if your site isn?t organically in the first page of Google and I can be certain that indeed most of you aren?t even close, which is why you are using PPC. Using PPC for your primary keyword is all good and well, but have you noticed how many other websites are bidding in vein for the exact same keyword? You are not the only one using PPC and if you don?t have a certain strategy in doing so you might not even get any results from such system, even though you are paying!

The most popular keywords for a given theme are competed for fiercely. So how do you go about bidding low and minimizing competition for maximum results? Well, you need to focus your campaign on niche keywords.

What do I mean by ?niche keywords?? Niche keywords are words and phrases that relate to your site but are undisputed for because they are very specific. For example, if you had a website that sold second-hand furniture in New York City, instead of bidding for ?second-hand furniture? or ?used furniture? you can be more specific by using ?second hand furniture in New York? and even ?furniture New York?. How about ?New York furniture? or ?furniture delivery in New York?? These keywords are very specific and will generate fewer clicks, but they are QUALITY clicks. These clicks are far more likely to turn into paying customers than people who click on ?used furniture?, because people who search for such general phrases could be anywhere in the world and are out of your business range, but they could also just be fishing for prices or undergoing some research. Competing for very general keywords is unwise and unprofitable.

When someone searches for ?second-hand furniture New York? you immediately know they are within business range because they live in New York. Making this person far more probable of being a potential customer. Not only are they in New York but they are looking for second-hand furniture within their city, bingo!

Finding the right key phrases are not hard, you just need to really think about what a local customer might type into the search box to find you. The more specific, the better. And you will surprisingly find that with such specific keywords competition will be reduced to almost zero, because your competitors are too busy bidding for popular words! Not only will these keywords provide you with golden clicks but also you are the only choice they will have from these keywords! How better can it get?

Bidding for words that are popular is a waste of time and effort. The key to PPC is knowing when and how to use specific keywords to maximum effect by a careful combination of educated guesses and informed decisions.

Advertising Your Home Business With Google Adwords

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 03-03-2009

The object to successful advertising is to find a method of conveying your information to as many people as possible, while keeping the cost on the advertising low to begin with. This is the easiest way to generate traffic, and retain your profits. Google Adwords is a great method of getting both of these objectives done and making your site successful. It is very important to try and maintain a low click through cost when trying to target the appropriate customers.

It is no secret that pay per click can really make your business swell with traffic and customers, by placing the highest bid on a keyword, or keywords you can get great page ranking when someone types your keyword into their browser for a search. If you have heard of Google Adwords you will know that it is not really a pay per click search engine, but a very powerful Google tool that can be used as an advertising template. It is said that the largest Internet based network for marketing is indeed Google. It is a global industry and is a very good way to get exposure on the Internet. If you are interested in the Google Adwords you can find it on just about every page that Google showcases, their ad can be found in a little rectangle by the organic search results that are free.

The basic premise of the Google Adwords realm is quite simple, the member makes their own advertisement, and then has to bid on a keyword, this key word will then trigger the next step of the process. The next step is where the appearance of the ad can be showcased, to the viewers online. A members site consists of approximately 25 words or characters, this will include spaces so be mindful, it will also allow for a description segment of up to 70 words or characters, again spaces included in the total so you must watch what you are using as description. The great thing about this feature is your site will be posted within just a few minutes of you submitting it to Google. It could even become one of the sites that are sponsored, where they will sit on the right hand column of the search engine pages.

Google?s Adwords runs a little differently than the standard pay per click programs, it is not entirely based on the bid you place on the keyword. It has other factors penciled into the equation, such as the click through rate, plus the cost per click. This in turn dictates what your page ranking will be in the end of the ratio. You will need a steady flow of traffic to your site prior to this method to be effective, so it is best to get a good game plan in motion.

Pay Per Click Search Engine Marketing – Starting A Campaign

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 03-03-2009

Pay per click advertising is an on-going and growing arsenal for all entrepreneurs world wide. Whether your have a small business or a large business, buying a search engine placement is definitely the way to go.

Pay per click advertising is an on-going and growing arsenal for all entrepreneurs world wide. Whether your have a small business or a large business, buying a search engine placement is definitely the way to go.

Why fight a never ending battle against some of the worlds best webmasters who have years of experience and are dedicated to search engine placement 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

Don’t fight the battle, win the battle by utilizing pay per click search engine marketing!

1st Thing 1st: Testing Your Market Place…

If you’ve never attempted a pay per click campaign, a good idea is to start with a small budget in order to test your market place.

The key is to find what your potential customers are searching for. There’s no better place to test that out by going to Google. Google allows you to pay for a small ad off to the right within a small green box.

Huh? If you’ve never seen these small ads within Google, go to: www.google.com

If you type in “web design” in google’s search engine, you will no doubt get the regular results on the left, as well as a list of small ads off to the right within small green boxes.

Underneath the small green boxes, you will see a link that says; “Place your ad here”. Another route is by going here: http://adwords.google.com

Please do yourself a favor and dedicate yourself to a small ad within Google in order to learn the ropes and utilize an inexpensive way to some fabulous research information.

You’ll want to determine how much you are willing to pay for 1 month. It could be as low as $20, but I recommend starting out with $50.00 to start your 1st campaign.

Try coming up with an ad that’s catchy and to the point!

Ex. Legal Services

Get A FREE Consultation!
Legal Services in Ontario
http://www.legalservices.com

After that you need to predetermine the “Key Phrases” you think that your potential clients are typing in Google when it comes to your product or service.

EX. “Legal Services”.

When Google asks you to enter your key words or phrases, you might want to try entering something like this….

1. Legal Services
2. Lawyers in Ontario
3. Law Services
4. Lawyer Services
5. Lawyer Services in Ontario

Try using as many as you can think of… Google will later show you the most popular key phrases compared to the key phrases that don’t work at all.

Please Note: I am using Goggles Adwords as an example because of how easy it is to log into your account at any time and check to see how many people have seen your ad and how many people have actually clicked on your ad to visit your site.

Once you’ve entered your “Key Words & Phrases” now you’re going to be asked to enter the maximum amount of money you want to pay every time someone clicks on your ad.

Ex. If someone searches “Legal Services”, you enter that you will pay a maximum of 0.07cts per click.

This will give you a pre-qualified potential client for 0.07cts.

Let’s move on a little now..

Assuming that your ad is all set up and already on the way. Now you can return to Google, log into your account and see how your “Key Words & Key Phrases” are performing with your campaign.

It might read something like this….

1. Legal Services ———- Ad was viewed 2000 times ————- Clicked on 100 times.
2. Lawyers in Ontario —– Ad was viewed 4560 times ————- Clicked on 9 times.

Now you will get a much better understanding at what your potential clients are searching for and what they are actually clicking on.

KEY NOTE: Try to experiment with this as much as possible and as quickly as possible so you can really begin your Pay Per Click Search Engine Marketing.

Are you ready???

Now that you have your predetermined key words of phrases you want to use, you can now start looking into pay per click campaigns. Per per click search engines are a little different compared to the Google Adwords because instead of getting a small ad off to the right you are now going to bid on actual search engine placements.

1st thing you want to do is to visit a pay per click search engine. For instance, you might want to visit: www.goto.com or www.lycos.com or any other pay per click search engine online and test your new key words to determine what the top placements are paying for those spots.

Ex. Let’s use “Lawyer Services” again, type in that phrase in any ppc search engine and look at the top placements! It should read something like this…

5) Legal Services.com
Our firm is dedicated to helping you win your case each and every time.
Cost: $0.10

The key is to look at the cost. The cost is what “Legal Services.com” was willing to pay for the 5th search engine placement.

And there you go, you now have the basic knowledge to plan out a pay per click campaign. Always remember to lay out how much you are willing to commit to your search engine campaign and keep yourself to it.

I recommend to all my clients to at least master the Google Adword program. Goggles search engine is the #1 hotspot on the internet for potential clients, why not get a slice of the pie!

Is Your PPC Or Adwords Campaign Crashing On The Landing Page?

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 03-03-2009

What is a good landing page? The crucial half of a PPC campaign most people don’t know about.

Google Adwords, Yahoo (formerly called Overture Sponsored listings) and other Pay Per Click (PPC) companies give you the chance to get your ad or search listing at the top of the pack, right up front and perfectly matched to the searcher’s query. With a clever and catchy, attention grabbing ad or headline you can win the viewer in that critical split second he has to decide to click.

He clicks, you score! Right? WRONG! If you can get that click on a focused, targeted keyphrase and ad headline, you should feel very good. You’re halfway there. But, where does he land? On your home page? On the specific product page if you have an online store?

The page where the viewer lands is called a “landing page” or “destination page.” It is equally as important as your ad headline and copy, if not more. Most sales, conversions, or leads that cost hard cash to Adwords or Yahoo are often lost because of poor, or non existent landing pages.

Why can’t I just send my adword clicks to my Home page?

You can. But what if you walked into a five-story department store with no sales people– You’re looking for a very specific sweatshirt with a Penn State Logo that you saw at a football game. You know the sports shop out in the mall will have it, but you’ve got a store credit card so you’d like to get it here. You’re also holding onto two toddlers who are losing their cuteness very quickly because they want the Happy Meals you promised on the way home.

So there you are in an endless sea of perfume counters. You want a sweatshirt. Maybe it’s in the men’s section…but where is that? Or maybe it’s in Active wear… would that be with the men’s stuff? And where are the escalators?!

“Forget it,” you think, and walk out to the sports shop in the mall, buy your sweatshirt and are on your way to Micky D’s in less than 10 minutes.

Your homepage is the department store. It doesn’t matter if you’re selling a product, service, or giving away free information. You have sections and categories which are probably very well marked and labeled.

However, your Google Ad or Sponsored listing was specific. It advertised a precise thing in about 70 characters or less. People don’t care about your home page. They expect to see what they were searching for as soon as they click. Don’t you?

So let’s say your ads lead to specific destination pages of your site. What’s on those pages?

Destination Page Overview

For Pay Per Click, your destination pages are absolutely critical. They are the second half of the sales pitch. Just having the adword or PPC land on the product page is not enough. First, you have to get someone to your site.

Remember the number of hits you get on a PPC or Google Adword is an ever-increasing expense if you don’t turn that click into a sale and the only sales person you have is the page at the end of that click.

You’ve got to convince someone quickly, “at a glance quickly,” why they should buy from you and not the ad above or below you. Think of your own web searches. You have seconds to entice that viewer to read more, or lose them.

Build the page around a SINGLE goal incorporating:

? Well written content describing in clear detail what you are offering

? Organization to make a fast read or “scan” of the page convey as much information to the viewer as possible. Use bullet points and straightforward language to make reading as easy as possible

? Show the benefits to the potential customer. Details that the viewer can relate to on a personal, even emotional level are what makes this page have a much better chance of getting a lead, conversion or sale. It must show all the properties that make you better than the rest. Don’t be arrogant, but make the reader feel they will be secure, better and confident if they buy, fill out a form, or perform the action you’re after.

? KISS- “Keep it simple, stupid” applies here too. If you don’t need a country and a phone number in your form, keep them off. Make it easy and simple for your viewer.

Remember, when you land on a page, you ask “WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?”

Destination Page Construct

? The first step is to provide the viewer with what he’s looking for immediately. Next, show him the features of the product.

? Most importantly, what is the benefit to the potential customer? Why should he buy from you? What will he gain by buying from you?

? If you’re selling a product that is very similar to other competing products, you need to focus your sales message on what makes your product unique. What are the unique benefits for your customer?

? Anything that can steal focus from your objective risks losing a conversion. This includes other products, details not related to the main idea, and even the navigation system you use throughout your site. Don’t give the viewer the option to go anywhere else but to a form, buy button or call to action.

? Each destination page should have a single, obvious goal that gently tells the customer what to do. Don’t try to cross sell or sign up for a newsletter and send an e-card. Stick to one goal.

? Some people might be looking for the specific product and buy from you. But for those that are questioning and/or first time buyers, don’t give them a chance to question your credibility.

?The phone number and email address should appear (not obnoxiously)enough times that they’re always visible when the page is scrolled. It’s a proven fact, if someone has to search for how to contact you, you lose some potentials.

Destination Pages and the Unique Selling Proposition

A concept developed in 1961 still holds merit today and is a great check for the underlying tone of your landing page. That is the “Unique Selling Proposition” by Rosser Reeves. The concept explains how every company should strive to show how it differs and surpasses its competition.

It consists of three concepts that should be applied to your advertisement (or adword) and your destination page.

1. Tell the consumer what benefits you will be giving him. ? “Buy this product, and you will get this specific benefit.”

2. The benefits have to be unique to your product. Something that separates you from what the competition has to offer. If your products are sold by competitors too, find something that distinguishes YOUR company.

3. The proposition must be so strong and convincing that it can move the millions (attract new customers).

To be successful, you’ll need to research and build a campaign, then watch and modify, test and retest different changes, words, prices, etc. I want to stress the importance of this.

The same testing, observing, tracking and revising apply to landing pages as they do to ads and headlines themselves. It can save you a lot of money. If you’re not careful you can run up thousands of dollars in PPC and adwords with insignificant sales or leads.

The Concept Of Affiliate Marketing

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 02-03-2009

In this article you will find great ways to use traffic exchanges to generate traffic for your internet home business website. If you are not familiar with traffic exchanges they are basically a system whereby you receive credits to click on other people’s internet business websites and ads through a specific URL run by the traffic exchange company. When you sign up for The Adwords Manifesto you will be given a username and password as well as a members area where you can submit or edit URL’s you would like to see shown on their network and keep track of how many credits you have earned by surfing other peoples pages. You can also earn lump sums of traffic credits for referring other members.

Tip #1: Use A Lead Capture
A lead capture page, also known as a splash page, is a web page that contains text fields for a user to input his/her name and e-mail address. It is marketed in order for the reader to receive something valuable such as information they have been looking for in exchange for their name and e-mail address. Being creative to attract people to sign up is the key. Some people offer a free gift such as an e-book or a helpful report on the subject in order to get the lead. It’s almost like a sales letter with a sign-up at the bottom.

The reason you want to use a splash page is because, like yourself, most people are surfing traffic exchanges to gain credits for their own opportunity, and might not want to sign up for yours. Capturing e-mail addresses means you can continue to market to them later, and not waste your credits showing “one and done” web pages that do not allow you to create repeat visitors. Use your traffic exchange credits to promote these types of pages for your internet home business, they are type that let you to stay in contact with your visitor at a later date. It is always a good idea to include a simple privacy policy for your visitors, letting them know that their e-mail address will not be sold.

Tip #2: Build Your Downline Virally
The traffic exchange website you join will give you a private URL to promote their traffic exchange sign up. When a person signs up to use the traffic exchange through your URL you will receive, for example, 100 credits. This means that you did not have spend time surfing to earn them. Building your downline is an effective way to leverage your time and credit power. An even better way to leverage it is help the people you sign up to get sign up’s themselves.

This way they have more of a benefit because they now can spend less time surfing for credits, and it benefits you because you also gain credits from the sign ups of the people you sponsor. Helping those you sponsor to build a downline is easy with the advent of viral downline builders whose purpose is the help you build downlines by putting an effective system in place to promote all the traffic exchanges you belong to from one page. These pages were designed to help your downline build their downlines, which earns you more credits as well. Promoted properly you can create a huge downline and gain tons of credits using a downline builder webpage to promote all of the traffic exchanges you are affiliated with.

These are the most effective ways to benefit from ppc web spy. The credits you accumulate from building your downline and surfing can be directed to splash pages that get you leads. People who sign up for your newsletter, or that sign up to receive information from you about your products and services by e-mail are a re-occuring source of visitors to your internet home business website.

Therefore, their experience helped them pioneer a powerful web-based keyword intelligence system, which made a dramatic difference in the role and value of keyword research in various online sites and organizations.

What Is Pay Per Click Marketing And How Can It Benefit My Business?

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 02-03-2009

I could write a lot of pages, maybe even a book explaining what pay per click marketing is and what it can do for your business, but I will keep this short and to the point. Pay per click (ppc) marketing is an advertising platform in which you bid an amount of money that you are willing to pay for a click.

When a searcher does a search at Google all of the ads on the right side of the screen are ppc ads. Google calls them sponsored listings. When a surfer types in a keyword, the advertisers who have bid on that keyword have their ads displayed. When one of the ads is clicked by the surfer they are taken to the advertiser?s website. The advertiser is charged at maximum, the amount they?ve bid. Most of the time they are charged less than what they have bid. But they are never charged more than their maximum bid.

The bids can start at 1 cent and depending on the market and the ppc search engine, go up to $50 or more per click. When starting off I suggest bidding very low. Ten to fifteen cents per click or lower is a good start. The higher you bid the higher in the rankings your ad is shown therefore increasing your ad?s visibility and your potential visitors. The downside is bidding high can cost you a lot of money and in some cases bring you way over budget. Be very careful when bidding.

Bidding low might not get you as much traffic as bidding high but it will bring you traffic for much cheaper thus increasing your return of investment (ROI). One way to increase the amount of times your ad is shown (visibility) while bidding low, is to bid on a high volume of keywords. Some marketers bid on hundreds and up to hundreds of thousands of keywords.

This method will take some time. Putting together hundreds or thousands of keywords can be time consuming, but it is an effective strategy for getting quality traffic, without paying a lot of money. The more you work with the ppcs the faster you will get at putting together lists of keywords.

In case you?re not sure how to generate that many keywords there are many tools on the net that will help. Some are free and some charge money. One of the best free tools is offered by a company formerly named Overture, which has been bought out by Yahoo! This tool can be found here. http://inventory.overture.com

What can ppc marketing do for your business? Depending on your market, ppc marketing can be a great way to get quality traffic inexpensively, increasing your ROI and profit. It is also a great method for testing products because your ad can ?go live? in as little as 15 minutes and up to 5 business days. Depending on which ppc search engine you use.

Advertising your business at free search engines a.k.a organic search engines can take weeks or even months for your website to be indexed in their directory. It can take a lot longer than that to get a decent ranking on your search terms. The more competitive the keywords you are trying to get listed, the harder it is to obtain a decent ranking. This is one reason why ppc search engines have a huge advantage over organic search engines.

I, as well as thousands of other marketers think the best two ppc search engines are Google Adwords and Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture). Google claims your ad can ?go live? in 15 minutes but it usually takes a couple of hours. This is really fast. Yahoo! Usually takes a couple of days.

There are thousands of smaller ppc search engines. Some of them are good and some are not. Some will take your money but will not have many searchers. Google and Yahoo have hundreds of millions of searchers every day. If you think about using a smaller ppc do some research and find out what experiences other marketers have had. There are thousands of forums, newsletters, ezines and info sites dedicated to educating people about ppc marketing. You can learn a lot about Google Adwords, Yahoo! Search Marketing and a lot of the smaller (2nd tier) ppc search engines at these places.

Do Pay Per Click Advertising Campaigns Really Work?

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 01-03-2009

Pay per click advertising works through search engines that have an agreement with a business. This business will place a small ad on the results page for certain key terms. The listing on the search engine page usually has a title, a short heading, and a short promotional wording blurb. Depending on the search engine, the advertiser may or may not get to control the text. The advertiser pays nothing to appear on the results page itself. He or she only pays a previously agreed upon amount to the search engine when a visitor clicks on the ad itself.

Despite its popularity and its once record profit returns, pay per click advertising has lost something in returns. It is still, however, one of the best, fastest, and most effective methods of advertising on the web. According to Google’s record profit posting recently, lots of people see these ads and click on them. While it is true that pay per click advertising is only worth it if the sale gets from click to close, those businesses that do manage to close the sale have an excellent deal in their hands with pay per click. This means that customers are usually directed to their site for about five cents each, depending on the price of the key word. Pay per click advertising is even better than high search engine rankings because the ads can go up in just a few minutes while changing your web page content to improve your rankings, even with the help of a search engine oriented text company, can take weeks.

There are many different current companies that offer pay per click advertising. Google’s pay per click program is called AdWords. Google estimates that over eighty percent of internet users visit Google as a search engine. That results more customers seeing the ads than most businesses ever thought possible. Google allows you to create your own ads. They do, however, have a service that will design your ad for you if you choose. Yahoo is the other most popular pay per click program. Yahoo’s Overture works through partner sites like MSN and Alta Vista. Through these many sites, they claim to allow you to reach over ninety percent of internet users.

Choosing a company to sign up with can be difficult, but the most difficult part of pay per click advertising will be the planning and writing stages. To make the best pay per click ad campaign, you have to bid on key word phrases that work best for you, write the most effective ads, and have a strong, quality page when they click on your ad. The price of some key word phrases is extraordinarily high, so picking the right phrases immediately is your best bet. If you know how to catch the customer’s attention and offer them a perfect presentation, you will get the sale almost every time. If you don’t, you will lose some serious money with pay per click advertising.

Some people recommend using a search engine oriented professional to design your pay per click advertising campaign. However, the right campaign can be self-managed, with the right skills. You need some understanding of consumer psychology, excellent writing skills, and plenty of time to research what will work for you. Before you get ready to start your pay per click campaign, be sure to do some research into what is out there with regard to your product or services. When you get ready to write, you’ll want to notice that the best campaigns are legitimize by what their pages declare about them. Without that legitimacy, your ad will not only fail, it may be removed by your pay per click service. The search engine company you choose to work with may be able to help you find the right key words, but their suggestions can sometimes be ineffective. You can find the best key words by using several services and performing web research on a regular basis.

Pay per click advertising campaigns can be very effective if your ad is well written and if your target site helps to complete the sale with the customer. Without these elements, pay per click advertising is simply a waste of your valuable time and money. You would be better off with a traditional ad campaign.

Does Pay-Per-Click Have A Future?

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 01-03-2009

Reading the Google hit piece that appeared in Barron’s this week got me thinking about the whole pay-per-click model. Pay-per-click (PPC) has been around for more a decade, and while Google has made some positive changes to it, it’s showing its age.

If you think of the Internet advertising process as a series of actions, it would go like this:

Impression -> Click -> Action

Back in the old days the metric was CPM (cost per thousand), and advertisers paid per impression (getting the ad on the screen). CPM favored the publisher over the advertiser, as the publisher’s responsibility ended at the first part of the process. DoubleClick, an early ad serving company, came up with their DART system to match the right advertiser with the right screen in order to maximize the return on CPM.

PPC moved the metric forward in the process, measuring success (and payment) based not on how many times the ad was served, but how many times it was actually clicked. When most people think of PPC they think of Adsense, Google’s contextual advertising engine. But PPC is employed in banner advertising, on big ad farms like Doubleclick and other companies, and in some affiliate programs, though the number seems to be waning.

The latest incarnation of search engine based PPC (thanks to Google), works like this: you select keywords that you think people will use to search for stuff related to what you sell. For example, if you sell pretzel dough you might want to advertise under pretzels or making pretzels or something along those lines. Selecting keywords is way beyond the scope of this article, but there are plenty of companies out there that make a living helping you pick keywords. Anyway, you then bid on those keywords and your ad is shown on the page with the search results.

With Adsense Google moved the context from the search engine results page to your web site content. It reads your site and decides what keywords to use to display advertising on your site, just as it would with a Google search.

For affiliate programs it’s a little different, but the concept is the same. You choose the ads (or pay someone a piece of the action to choose the ads for you), and they get displayed on your pages. Rather than selecting the keywords explicitly, you are selecting the ads based on what you (or your agent) thinks people who have chosen to read your content may have an interest in seeing.

When someone clicks on the ad, you get paid. It’s that simple.

For Adsense, appearing first on the list makes all the difference. A study suggests that being the #1 choice increases your chance of being clicked by up to 40%, because a lot of people don’t look past the first entry (I always check the first few). The difference in bids between the first position and second position could be staggering. For example, 1900 people searched Google for the word tax yesterday. The top spot in Adsense would have cost you $25.12. Positions 2 and 3 drop to $6.96, and 4 and 5 would have cost you $4.24.

My experience with Adsense tells me that in this case the first position would probably pay Google close to $10.

As the publisher, this is a home run. Every time the person clicks I get a $5 bill. God, what a country!

As the advertiser, $10 to get the person in the door seems like a lot of money to me. If I’m selling a high margin item (like maybe tax software or one of those quickie tax loans), it seems like it may be okay.

But I still have to get them to buy. Conversion rates (getting the person to take some action once they’ve clicked on the ad and gone to your site) vary wildly, but I always use 1.5 – 3% of those who click on an ad. That means that 97 – 98.5% of the people who click on the ad do not buy. Let’s use 2% as an example. That means that for all the five dollar bills flying into the publisher’s pocket, only about 2 people out of every hundred will buy anything. So for every $1000 I spend I get 20 sales. That means that every sale costs me $50. Your results will vary, of course, depending on how targeted your keywords are and your industry and offer. Get the conversion up to 5%, for example, and you will be down to $20 per sale, which is a little better. I am designing a what-if tool to help with this, and I’ll post it when it’s ready.

One of the reasons for low conversion is probably click fraud. If an unscrupulous person wants to make money in PPC, all he needs to do is find a bunch of people (or computers) to click on the ads on his website continually, and he’ll reap the rewards.

Barron’s believes that the smart money is getting out of PPC. They cite FTD as an example:

Flower giant FTD Group (FTD) recently complained about the high price of search advertising. “During the Christmas season, certain online search engine costs increased significantly over the prior year, and as such we made the decision not to pursue the resulting high-cost order volume,” said Michael Soenen, chief executive officer.

First off, let me just say that as an advertising exec I pitched FTD, and they didn’t strike me as the brightest bulbs in the chandelier. That being said, it’s easy to see why FTD wants out. Being #1 or #2 in the keyword Flowers around Valentine’s Day would have cost between $6.25 and $10.00. There were 100,000 searches on the days close to VD on that keyword, and 11,500 on Flowers Delivered, which would have cost between $5.03 and $6.72.

Some simple arithmetic shows me that FTD nets about $6.20 per transaction across its network. So the transaction is either a wash or a loss. FTD is the number 1 ad on Google for their keywords, so I guess they decided to eat that first transaction, counting on continuity to save them. According to Barron’s this isn’t going to work either:

One industry executive noted that the lifetime value of a customer acquired through Google for his/her business had approached zero. Oops. So much for that theory.

So the answer seems to be that the big guys are getting out. Using the flowers example, though, the top 5 ads are FTD, ProFlowers, Hallmark, 1-800-Flowers and Teleflora. So I guess it’s going to happen over time.

So where is the future? According to the inventor of pay-per-click himself, Bill Gross (formerly of GoTo.com), the future is in pay-per-action, which moves the metric down to the final part of the Internet advertising transaction, where we think it belongs. There’s a terrific article on Seochat.com that has more information on this.

Pay-per-action is simple…both parties have a stake in the outcome of the click, whether that is a sale, a lead, or even an instant telephone call (more on that in part 2). We think this is going to be the next big thing, and it’s already happening.

Increasing Sales With Strategic PPC Marketing

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 28-02-2009

If you start online business just remember that the Internet has now become an important medium for product and service advertisements. Almost every company that can afford print, radio and TV advertisements have also ventured into placing ads on the Internet.

But with millions of websites out there being visited by millions of computer users, how can you make sure that your ad can be seen by your target customers and that your leads will be followed by these users? Here are a few tips. Always start with search engine submission.

1. Place an ad on the websites frequented by your target customers. Before doing this, you need to define who will be your target customers. Placing an ad on sites that they usually visit will increase the possibility that your ad will gain the attention and will be followed your target customers.

Also, consider the website’s search engine placement, traffic, external linking and the other ads placed on it. External linking will determine if there are other sites that link to this site. This will mean that people can get to the site where your ad is placed, even if they are browsing a different site. Check if many of your competitors have ads on this site.

2. Placing ads on some sites cost some money. However, there are also sites that can place a link to your site, product or service in exchange of having their link being displayed on your site. This is also true about the newsletters sent by site owners to its mailing list members regularly.

Also, having helpful links placed on your site and having sites link to your pages help in boosting search engine ranking. This is similar to making a statement that your site’s content is important that other sites have links to your web pages.

3. Pay-per-click (PPC) is also a good method in Internet marketing. You will only need to pay for the ad if the link is clicked. If you prefer this method of advertisement, make sure that you are using services that set limits on daily expenses. There are also services that help you determine effective keywords and monitor the PPC results.

4. Choose your domain name wisely. It is still being debated if domain names matter when it comes to search engine placement. Whether it does or not, having product related domain names help consumers remember your domain, that they can go back to your site even without the links.

5. Make sure you have useful content on your sites. While keyword density is important in search engine placement, having useless information or annoying repetition of keywords will not increase your customer’s confidence in your site. It may even affect your sites traffic and can get your site removed from search engines. So make sure that keywords are used strategically.

6. When thinking of keywords, think like your target customers. What do you think are they going to search so they can get to your site? Also, use specific keywords or key phrases. Submitting a single word or a very general phrase to a search engine will not get you to the top of the search results compared to submitting specific keywords that describe your product and services perfectly.

7. Track your ads. Always check how much you have spent on placing links on frequently visited sites and on PPC. There are services that allow you to monitor PPC transactions and how many of these end in sales. You always need to consider if the ads that you have placed on these websites are getting you to your target consumers and if these ads can lead to revenue.

One final tip on marketing products and services, sell the benefits. It will help your marketing strategies a lot if you highlight the benefits of choosing your products and services instead of merely discussing the product specifications. Product specifications may not mean much to customers, unless they know what these stand for (how these specifications affect the quality of the product or service).

Many people say getting to the top of search engine results is difficult since millions of websites exist, which can be using the same keywords. While this is true, this doesn’t mean that your website has to stacked under your competitors’ websites when presenting search engine results. Strategic advertising and linking, together with useful content, can also get you to the top of the search results.

Cash And PPC Affiliate Programs To Expand Your Online

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 28-02-2009

Millions are paying to get a ride on the Information Super Highway everyday. Now, it is widely known that the Internet is an accessible resource of many income-generating activities. After you start an internet business, whether you belong to a private sales company or you are just interested in internet marketing, PPC affiliate programs can be a powerful venue to make money from the Internet. A partnership with an affiliate merchant is a win-win situation for the merchant and the affiliate: sales are soaring because of exposure and traffic while the affiliate is earning good cash.

To make things much simpler: the affiliate merchant provides a strip of advertisement and pays you when someone clicks on the ad?s link. You can get a commission of $0.10 to $0.30 for every click, but it sometimes it can go higher depending on your merchant affiliate. Sometimes, merchants require a quota ($1.4 for every 1000 clicks). Plus, you can get discounts from your merchant affiliates if you happen to like their products too. You can just kick back and relax while your website is generating cash. Sounds easy, doesn?t it?

What is PCC Affiliate Program?

PPC means pay-per-click, wherein you get in partnership with an affiliate company that literally pays you for every click. There are actually two types of PCC affiliate programs ? those who pay a commission based on the number of clicks and the other based on the sales. The pay-per-click scheme is much more popular than pay-per-lead because the affiliate gets paid by just clicking the ad, regardless of whether the visitor buys from the affiliate merchant or not. Plus the chances of a visitor purchasing something from the affiliate merchant are not really that high.

In choosing an affiliate program, read the fine print carefully ? some pay-per-click programs get the ratio of the number of people who went to your site and the actual people who clicked on the ad. If you have a heavily targeted website, this can hurt your earnings.

How do I start?

Of course, you need to have a website. Depending on your target audience, choose the best affiliate merchant that is most related to your topic. For example, your website is about Carpentry then you can search for affiliate programs that sell tools used in carpentry.

However, if you don?t have a website, that?s not a problem. You can put up a content site about absolutely anything under the sun like ?Taking Care of Dogs? or ?Decorating your own Home.? But wait, its not over yet. We are faced by a dilemma ? on how to increase traffic! You first need to get internet surfers to see your website, then the ad.

How do I increase my traffic? Website Submission?

First, design your website in such a way that it will attract internet users. A user-friendly site is always recommended so that the customers will know which one to click. Take into consideration the look and feel of the advertisement. If it doesn?t look professional, most likely, users will just ignore it. Place the ad on a strategic location ? one where users can see it clearly. Visibility of the ad is always important.

Another way is to post a link to your website in forums, web communities, ezine articles or bulletin boards. However, this method requires a lot of effort ? that defeats your purpose of getting easy money in the first place! The key is to do something once and forget about it. It?s like putting your business on autopilot. To maintain you pay-per-click business, be sure to track down site activity, so you are updated on how much money you are making.

Can I make more money?

If you think you can go to the next level, you can try a two-tier affiliate program. This gives you the power to recruit affiliates. Other than the money you get from your website?s clicks, you will also get a percentage of what your affiliate generates. Some companies give 30% to a soaring 50% commission on all referral sales.

Remember, you should be able to manage and monitor your affiliate program. If you can recruit more affiliates, then you can get paid more without even moving a finger! Choose affiliates that can most likely attract more internet users and bring more traffic. You just have to know the right people.

Pay For Advertising For Maximum Site Promotion

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 28-02-2009

Engaging in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising has its own benefits and drawbacks. But what exactly is PPC advertising and what it can do for your internet business?

Business nowadays is doing different kinds of austerity measures when it comes to advertising their products and services. This is because of high rates of placing ads on print and on television. But there is a fast growing approach that businessmen can utilize to bring their services closer to the people and that is through Internet Marketing.

So once you start an internet business, one tool that you need to use is PPC advertising. This is a technique used in search engine marketing that requires one to pay a fee every time someone clicks an ad on your website. Usually this placement is done through a bidding process. If you are a top bidder for your keywords/phrases, you are sure to be on the number one spot on all search engines. Just be sure of the effectiveness of your ad copy to get the most number of clicks you need for your business.

Here are the benefits of PPC advertising are:

1. You need not be a genius in computer and technology to be able to run this ad campaign.
2. Immediate results are seen after a few days.
3. No need to make a website conform to the SEO rules.
4. Nothing to lose even if you do not top the pages of different search engines. You can still always choose PPC advertising.
5. You can make use any search engine available.
6. You can type in any keyword you like.

Cons of PPC advertising includes:

1. Fixed payments every month to the search engine you choose.
2. Pay for each click received by your website. At times, visitors are just competitors or people playing pranks on search engines. This hassle wastes money you put in to this advertising.
3. Inability to pay for the fees next month would mean removal of your website on the paid listings.
4. This advertising can only be used temporarily because it is difficult to handle in the long run.
5. Pay-per-click pricing can be costly for long periods of time, therefore, this should be stopped after an ad campaign.

But how exactly PPC advertising can increase traffic, leads and sales?

PRE-QUALIFIED TRAFFIC. All visitors of your website are already considered as a qualified consumer or buyer of your product. PPC advertising leads your customers to you for a lesser cost.

INSTANT EXPOSURE, IMMEDIATE PROFITS. PPC search engines enable you to get your desired results fast. They will have your website live within just a few hours which means immediate increase in sale.

CONSISTENT TOP LISTINGS. This is to get your website on top of the sponsored search results for free. You just have to choose the keywords related to your site and business and place them within your web pages. After this, you are done.

PPC advertising enables advertisers to control their advertising campaigns. Advertisers have effectively targeted their audience and set their own price per click. PPC advertising networks provide the platform to identify the desired audience by geographic setting, topic and industry. These networks have a list of websites of the publishers where the ads will be placed.

Tools are provided by the networks to check how the pay per click limit is working for a certain advertiser. If its still competitive, would it be even listed among the paid search lists or does it generate sales? Of course, if the advertiser made the highest bid, the better chances the ad will be seen in the search engine. These networks too provide protection for the advertisers against click fraud. This advertising set-up allows advertisers to set a daily budget for his ads, thus, less spending for unnecessary clicks. Advertiser will never go over his budget.

In PPC advertising, what are important are the keywords and phrases. You have to select at least ten “very specific” keywords that would give you the best traffic in the search. Then, write the ad creatively but straightforward. Tell the truth about your product or service and do not lie. Good thing if your product or service will not disappoint those that are relying on your ad’s promise – but what if it did otherwise? Important too is the clarity of the ad. Do not use very vague languages. Include important details like the price.

You should also remember to budget your bids. Do not go overbidding because you will only lose your money and do not go so low that your ads will never get the chance to show up. Check your profit against your spending. If you see no progress then most likely you have to drop your ad campaign.

More and more advertisers have been using PPC advertising and it will continue to grow faster than any online advertising techniques. From revenues of $2.6 billion in 2004 to $5.5 billion in 2009, cost per click will dramatically go up as well from $0.29 to $0.36.

PPC advertising is new in online marketing and it is going to continue in the years to come. For advertisers, this means increase revenues with fewer advertising expenses, savings, more sales, good return of investment (ROI) and effective ad campaigns in the days to come.

PPC Marketing, How To Make Your Online Business Click

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 28-02-2009

Once you start an online business you need to think about PPC. PPC stands for Pay Per Click – a popular advertising technique on the Internet. Found on websites, advertising networks, and especially on search engines, PPC advertising involves sponsored links that are typically in the form of text ads. These are usually placed close to search results, where an advertiser pays a particular amount to visitors who click on these links or banners and land on the advertiser’s web page. This is one of the best way’s to advertise your internet business.

In essence, PPC advertising is all about bidding for the top or leading position on search engine results and listings. Advertisers do this by buying or bidding on keyword phrases that are relevant to their products or services – the higher the bid, the higher the spot on the search results, the more the people will find the ad (and click on it) to go to their websites (this is why some people call it “keyword auctioning”). Advertisers would then pay the bidding price every time a visitor clicks through the website.

PPC advertising is also known under the following names/variations:

? Pay per placement
? Pay per performance
? Pay per ranking
? Pay per position
? Cost per click (CPC)

PPC advertising is usually done with the following standard procedures:

1. Setting up an account and/or deposit funds.

2. Creating a keyword list.

3. Choosing (and setting up) an account with a PPC search engine.

4. Bidding on the ad placement, including the search result words or phrases.

5. Writing out an ad copy.

6. Setting up the ‘landing pages’ for your ads.

7. Placing the advertisement in the search engine.

There are many benefits to Pay Per Click advertising, making it an effective way of promoting a business ‘online’. Some of them are listed below:

? Get launched immediately. PPC advertisements are implemented very quickly – they can go ‘online’ within an hour after winning the bid and paying for it.

? Obtain specific, pre-qualified, and quality traffic. PPC provides you with a quality or a well-targeted traffic. Visitors are narrowed down into ‘qualified’ people who are actually looking for specific products and/or services that you offer – those who are more likely to become a ‘lead’ (a convert) and complete a transaction (either by buying your product or subscribing to the service that you are offering.

? Widen your reach. PPC advertising provides additional traffic to your site, aside from the natural or “organic” search engines.

? Track your investment. PPC advertising makes use of a tracking system that will determine exactly who comes to the website and what they do once they arrive – the length of their stay on the site and the number of pages (including the actual pages) that they view. These are valuable tools in determining statistics such as return on investment (ROI), acquisition cost-per-visitor, and conversion rates (the percentage of visitors who are converted into customers or leads).

Below are some important things to consider when planning on a pay per click campaign:

1. Know your product. Take an inventory of the product and/or services that you have to offer (before anything else).

2. Stay within the budget. Determine your daily or monthly budget; and stay with it. This means keeping your budget in mind, avoiding bidding wars if possible.

3. Bid just right. Know how to bid right – a bid that is too high can exhaust all of your money, while a bid that is too low can make you lose that spot.

4. Watch the bottom line. Measure your profit margin against your spending or expenses. Know when to stop and terminate your PPC program – if you spend more on advertising but have little or no sales at all.

5. Find the right keywords. Decide which keyword phrases to opt and bid for. Do some keyword research, either by actually looking at existing search terms or with the use of online keyword suggestion tools, to know which terms are mostly used when searching for items that are related to your business. Focus on specific keywords, not on general ones.

6. Write effective ads. A good PPC ad is that which can persuade and move a searcher. There are several approaches to this:

? Discount offers
? Testimonials
? Celebrity/famous endorsers
? Money-back guarantees
? Free trials or sample offers
? Freebies
? Reverse psychology
? Major benefits (“Lose weight”)
? Direct instructions (“Click here”)

7. Maintain a professional-looking site. Your web content should be regularly updated and checked for spelling and grammatical errors. There should be no broken links or images. The website should be simple – designed in such a way that it will be easy for visitors to navigate and load. Include contact details to create a good impression among potential customers.

Done properly, PPC advertising can be an effective marketing tool that will maximize the return on your investment.

Wealthy Affiliates Advertise To Millions With Pay-Per-Click

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 28-02-2009

Introduction:

This is a series of articles about marketing and advertising. There are different ways you can reach an audience of millions of individuals all around the world. I show you on this series how to implement profitable strategies in your marketing career.

It has been said that ?what matters is not what you sell but how you promote it.? So, the secret to success lays within your marketing techniques. That?s why it is very important for business owners to develop skills which allow them to increase the sales of their products.

One of the most important skills you must have is the ability to reach a lot of people quickly. To do this you need to realize how powerful media is an how it can drastically increase your revenues.

? Pay per click advertisement ?

This particular strategy won?t bring you millions of customers but I have included it here anyway, because I know that a lot of people use it to advertise their products on the Internet and it gives them very positive results.

What is it about? Well, here we go…

Sophisticated search engines like Google and web directories (E.g. Yahoo) have developed advertisement programs which allow you to advertise in a new and innovative way. If you have ever used Google or Yahoo you may have already noticed some ad messages to the right of the screen. They are called text ads and they are much more effective than banners.

It works as follows. First you sign up with Google adwords https://adwords.google.com/ or Yahoo Overture http://www.content.overture.com/d/. These programs allow you to advertise on the Internet on a paid basis. Let me explain . . .

Once you join, you will have the opportunity to customize your ads. You will be able to set up everything as you please: the message you will deliver to your potential clients, the keywords you are going to use, the name for your ads, etc.

Then you will choose how much you want to pay for those keywords. For example if you own a real estate related business, and you want surfers that are looking for real estate related information to see your ad, then you will bid on that particular keyword.

The bidding starts at $0.05 per click and goes up. You only pay whenever someone clicks on your ads and you choose how much you want to pay for each click. You also decide the time frame of your advertising campaigns, how many clicks to receive in specific time periods, etc.

You will pay the amount you bid on, whenever someone clicks on your ad. If you bid $0.05 per click and you run and advertisement campaign with $30.00 then you may receive 20 clicks per day for thirty days. In that case you would be choosing to spend $1 per day, but you can also spend the whole amount in one week or one day.

It all depends of your preferences and what is more convenient to you. Also keep in mind that the higher you bid, the more exposure you get. If you bid too low, then your ads wont be very popular. A marketer that chooses to spend $1 per click will have a better exposure than that one who chooses to spend only $0.15 per click on the same keyword. Do you get the point here? This is a competitive thing.

Now, you may be wondering why do I refer you to a paid advertising technique when there are so many ways to advertise for free on the Internet as I have already described in other articles. The reason is basically that not every marketer is equal.

What may suit you perfectly, may be a waste of time or money for someone else and vise versa. So, I compiled many different advertisement techniques used by the most successful advertisers and presented them to you in this series so you choose the ones you like the most.

As you can see, this technique can increase your exposure and help you get more clients. You can read about other effective marketing techniques from my other articles on this series.

Earn Cash The Easy Way With Pay Per Click

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 23-02-2009

No one is ever satisfied with the amount of money they are earning, and are constantly looking for a way to supplement their income. Nowadays the easiest way to earn cash is online and one of the best ways to do so is through Pay per Click (PPC). Pay per click is an Internet advertising model that is used on advertising networks, search engines, blogs and content websites. Pay per click is quite easy, an advertiser pays a client every time a user clicks on an advertisement to visit the advertisers website. This is also same in the case of search engines and advertiser bids on key word phrases that are most relevant to the market they are targeting.. When you open a webpage there will be advertisements on display on the webpage, these adverts will appear adjacent or above the organic or natural results the results that the search engine would have come up with. These adverts are called sponsored ads or sponsored links. The prices for pay per click rates are usually fixed and don’t make use of the bidding mechanism.

Pay per click is an easy way to make money online, as there are many pay per click service providers. The biggest are Microsoft Ad Center, Google AdWords, and Yahoo! Search Marketing. Cost per click or the minimum prices that PPC providers charge differ depending on the search engine some even cost as little as US$0.01. However not all cost per clicks are this cheap as popular search terms fetch better prices on popular search engines. The level of competition for certain Keyword lists also differs depending on the search engine.

The Pay per click system is however not fool proof, as it is also subject to abuse through click fraud. A Webmaster can go onto his own website and begin clicking on a clients sponsored link and then go on to claim payment when there has actually been no new costumers who have visited the site. This, however, is not the case with every search engine as some search engines such as Google have implemented systems that are fully automated to guard against abusive clicks from corrupt Webmaster and from competitors.

Earning money on the Internet has never been easier. With Pay per click you can make millions of dollars for nothing. All you have to do become part of this exciting new way of making money is to own a website. If you don’t have a website then you can always design a website or get a professional web designer to design a website for you. Or you can better still join an affiliate group were you only need to pay a small amount of money and they will design a website for you. Once you are now a Webmaster you will then have to get companies to place their sponsored ads/links on your websites. Some of the best paying websites are online casino websites!!! Once you have everything in place on your website you can now sit back and watch the money pile up, because with every person who visits your webpage and clicks on the link on the webpage you will get paid. This is regardless of whether or not the person goes on to purchase anything from the link website.

Receive Quality Website Visitors To Your Site.

Posted by | Posted in PPC | Posted on 15-02-2009

Once you start a internet business, generating traffic to your web site is a very challenging problem. There are a number of ways in which this can be achieved. For instance, search engine submission, buying traffic, and you can try classified ads. This procedure still works quite well, although it may not be the best way to attract web visitors. A sound strategy for targeted traffic should definitely not leave out article marketing. This too is a great way to generate website traffic. A blog is also considered to be helpful in the process of creating web traffic. Email marketing and the submission of your web sites to several search engines should not be overlooked either. But what happens if you have already tried all of these steps to get traffic and you are still not satisfied with the number of visitors to your web site? If it makes you feel any better, you should know that there are a lot of other web sites that are faced with the problem of having to generate website traffic and come up with more effective ways of accomplishing this than the solutions mentioned above. The best answer to traffic generation problem is buying web site traffic.

?Why would I buy traffic?? good question. After all, why buy visitors to your web site, when you can generate traffic for free? The answer is very simple. In most cases, free traffic is not nearly as effective as paid traffic. Targeted visitors come with a series of benefits that you can only enjoy if you choose to buy traffic. Many business owners underestimate or fail to fully understand the importance of targeted traffic. Generating traffic is important, but if your visitors are not targeted, the chances of them actually purchasing something from your web site are slim to none. Therefore, the best solution to increasing your sales is to buy visitors and targeted traffic. Many people are under the false impression that generating traffic to their web site is all it takes, because no traffic equals zero sales. This is is a fact, but, as has been said before, you have no guarantee that your visitors will also make any purchases, unless we are talking about targeted traffic.

Why buy web site traffic when we all know that there are so many ways of advertising your internet business, which are absolutely free and will eventually get you traffic to your web site? The answer is once again very simple. The difference between free traffic and paid traffic is that, with the latter, the number and quality of visitors to your web site is superior by far. Free advertising requires time, effort and patience and often comes with very little payoff, whereas if you choose to buy web traffic, you will soon enjoy all the benefits of having a considerably larger number of customers who are actually interested in the products or services you provide. You can purchase web site traffic online and chose from several types of packages, depending on your specific traffic requirements. The daunting task of generating quality traffic to your web site is as good as gone if you buy traffic.

Of course don’t forget to submit your website to the search engines. “Flight Search Engine Submission” can help you with that.
